hi, my son alan and me, hilda, just came back from that site yesterday, after spending 2 wonderful days at morrow mountain state park, . the pool was very clean and nice water, friendly staff everywhere. we could see a couple of deer with a baby deer as close as about 2 to 3 yard away from us. Even a little shower at night did not scar us away. after all, we come back soon. What a great vacation for a few days !!!!!!!!!!!!

I can remember going to swim in Badin Lake when I was a child living in Salisbury, NC. This was over 40 years past, and I can remember going up on Morrow Mountain to picknic-what a nice place, even back then. Haven't been to either location for at least 35 years. Next time in Salisbury I plan to make time to revist the lovely places. Good memories of thes places.
